FAMILY GIVING CAMPAIGN
We are kicking off our first fundraising event of the year — The Family Giving Campaign (FGC) . Funds raised by the FGC will pay for staffing and programs that are not supported by the school budget. These contributions will help with programs needed to achieve the best education and social environment for our children. It plays a direct role in enhancing our children's education and childhood experience.

Every dollar of your generous donation goes directly into your children's learning environments, teachers, and school. Your contributions will help set McNear be the best it can be! Now is the time to invest in our children's future, so consider donating to our Friends and Family Giving Campaign. See below for ways to donate!

 

 

Suggested Donation

To meet our funding goals for this school year, we suggest an annual contribution of $400 per family.

What we are funding this year

 

  • Classroom supplies for ALL students throughout the year!

  • Environmental LIteract- we fund a teacher and programming for all grades!

  •  

    MASC and Maker's Lab (McNear Arts and Science Center) Extra Science and Arts programming all year long!
  • Performing Arts support and scholarships for 1st-6th Grades
  • After School Enrichment (ASE)/Scholarships for ASE
  • Scholarships for 4th and 6th grade camps 
  • Library support
  • McNear's Garden Program
  • FIeld Trips!....and the buses needed for transportation (CA state now requires a bus for any field trip over 22 miles, which will significantly increase the cost per trip!  It is the PTA's goal to try to cover these trips without requesting money from families each trip!)
  • McNear Elementary Community events:  Ice Cream Social, Disco Bingo, Wacky Winter Run, Field Day!

Donations made through this fund can take up to 45 days to be received by McNear PTA.

Corporate Matching


Corporate matching is a great way to double or even triple your contribution. Please check with your employer to find out if they can match charitable donations.
